Capital Gains Tax & Transfer {Stamp} Duty

Nobody likes to pay tax. Unfortunately stamp duty is another tax which is generally payable on the sale or gifting of any property in NSW unless its your first property.  
Transfer (Stamp) Duty is paid on the market value of the property, not the actual sale or gifting amount if it is an off market transaction.
Also, don't forget - Stamp Duty is payable within 30 days of settlement!
